Suvbharat Times, 9/11- The apex court, in a unanimous verdict, gave the ownership of the disputed 2.77-acre land in Ayodhya to the Ram Janmabhoomi trust. It ordered that an alternative piece of land in a "suitable" and "prominent" place in Ayodhya should be given to the Muslims to build a mosque. The Court also asked the government to frame a plan within three months and set up a trust, which would construct a temple in Ayodhya. The five-judge Constitution Bench, led by Chief Justice of India (CJI) Ranjan Gogei, started day-to-day hearing on the matter from August 6, 2019, and midway through the proceedings, directed the advocates to finish the argument by October 16. Later the Supreme Court concluded hearings in the Ram Janmabhoomi -Babri Masjid land dispute in Ayodhya and reserved its judgment. It was passed on November 9, 2019 > Srisai Creation, Bhubaneswar
Suvbharat Times, 21/11- Former supermodel Mehr Jessia and Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal were granted divorce by a family court in Bandra, Mumbai. They had announced their separation in May this year. After 21 years of their married life they had made it clear that though their relationship has ended, they continue to be friends and their daughters will always be their primary focus. As to a national television channel the principal judge Shailaja Sawant granted the couple divorce under the Special Marriage Act, and their two daughters Mahikaa and Myra will reside with their mother at Bandra. They had told in their statement that “after a 20-year-long beautiful journey filled with love and beautiful memories, we would like to share, that all journeys have different paths. We feel that it is time for us to move on to different destinations henceforth.
